Job purpose
• Overall responsibility of managing assigned Distribution operation . Also responsible for budgeting , managing cost, ensuring departmental safety , tracking and reporting key performance indicators(KPIs) , establishing and driving improvement programs and so on .
Job Responsibilities
• Formulate and implement distribution plans for catering continuous need of assigned deport and to ensure smooth product mix availability with minimum holding cost and least opportunity loss .
• Rationalize vehicles & logistics utilization through effective distribution plan .
• Ensure smooth and timely product delivery at targeted customer points through effective formulation and implementation of route plan .
• Operate distribution office with strict regulatory compliance and within targeted cost parameters and targeted distribution services objectives.
• Manage cash collections and outstanding in accordance with the prevailing policies , minimize product returns and arrange timely disposal of damaged and expired goods.
• Provide leadership to all supporting departments staff, set expectations , monitor performance develop junior colleagues.
Job Requirements :
*Graduation in any discipline preferably with science / commerce background
* At least 8 (eight) years of relevant job experience with a reputed pharmaceuticals company out of which at least 2 (two) years in DIC or equivalent position .
* Strong computer knowledge and usage skills (Microsoft office)
